Default PCPER tests GPU's at 4K

Here's an interesting article:

Frame Rating: High End GPUs Benchmarked at 4K Resolutions | Battlefield 3 - Single GPU Cards

High end GPU's tested at 4K resolutions (on a 4K TV they got for only $1300...I want!)

Anyway, read the rest of the article, but the page I want to point out: the GTX680 is stuck at 25FPS. This thing was the fastest single GPU card in existence merely a year ago, and already it is being outclassed by almost every other card in this test. Yikes!

Nice read. Thanks for the post. 7970 do seem to shine compared to gtx 680 as resolution goes up. Crossfire is another story all together.

Imagine when 4k gaming starts becoming mainstream...the kind of graphical power that would be available to us in a midrange config is mind boggling! Maybe in 2 generations? Please?
