Are you going to be using the displays in portrait or landscape? You may want to try it out before investing more money in videocards. I did not like playing @ 7260x1440 one bit. It was seriously overwhelming and gave my serious eye strain.

But I would definitely go w/ Titans either way.

Well I am going to try landscape mode first and see how I like it. But I will also try portrait to see if I like it more. Either way even if I just gamed on one monitor I love having the screen real estate!

Titans are what I would say if you didn't already have 2x7970. Because you have them I would go for another 7970, or just wait out a bit on your 2x7970 and see what this next gen brings.

Price rumours right now are around $500, likely come in as any high end new release (other than Titan) at around $600 - $625.
I cant remember the numbers right off the top of my head, but very close (Shader Cores) to a Titan and 5GB VRAM vs 6GB, a couple of these would be killer in SLi, for around $1200 + Tax, considering Titans are close to $1k + Tax.........

You are right rj, I was just being a smarta$$. Make me wonder if I should sell my 680 Lightning now... I am now running 2560X1600 and extra speed would be nice.

Return em?

I was thinking of getting a second 670 myself... waiting in anticipation of any and all tests of the 780's.

There is one choice:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN SLI & Tri-SLI Review | techPowerUp

4GB GTX 680SLi or Tri SLi would give the same good frame delivery at much lower cost.

I personally don't believe Titan LE will cost less than $800, because NVIDIA has no reason to compete with themselves in this fashion. There might be a "680 Ultra" type part for $500 coming, but my guess is $800/$1000/$1200 for the Titan family.

These cards are still selling out daily for $1000 at big etailers, there's no reason to rock that boat. NVIDIAs margins are at all time highs, and they have no competition.
