The actual vs reported FPS is one of the most useful things I've seen on a review yet.

Yes, this was a great review as far as information presented to the consumer. You may not have pioneered the frame latency review, but you have certainly improved on it, Sir Sky! Your explanations as to what everything meant were dead on, too, and very easy to understand. I look forward to reading future GPU reviews from here.

Nice piece of work bud. Keep it up.

I think AMD messed up for being late. Second, they have known about the whining issue for over a year now and you'd think that they would have found a way to address that. Third, the stuttering needs to be gone it has been here for too long and they are losing potential customers. They need to do a major job to get rid of stuttering, runt frames and make sure their next series are up to per with Nvidia.

This card is the king of single slot bitcoin mining. It'll pay for itself in about 20 weeks of mining. A single crosshair V mobo could run 5, meaning a 6 GH/s rig.

Someone hurry up and buy it so i can re-buy it used :D

EDIT:

How many watts do you think 5 7990 would require? My ax1200 has the physical connectors for three, but I don't think it's enough juice to tame 3 of those beasts XD

what is with those GAMES?
Hitman?
Max Payne?
okay Crysis 3 is the only game that is considered "tough"

get some Battlefield 3 in there, just saying
the point of graphic cards is gaming performance
and if you're lacking some

how would i know if this card is dominate
some crappy benchmark useless crap?
yeah like that proves it all

BF3 won't be added. That has been benchmarked to within an inch of its life.

Hitman and Max Payne are two games which not only look great but they routinely require more than 2.5GB of video memory. Much more than BF3.

Am I ever impressed with the hard work you put into the FCAT and stuttering analysis!!! After reading the article on Anandtech about why they won't use FRAPS for frametimes, I really feel like you guys NAILED this on the head in an amazing manner!

Finally sites are waking up to the fact that Crossfire has been reporting fps numbers that don't make it to the viewer for a long time.

Indeed but it is ONLY with Crossfire it seems.

I just finished re-benchmarking a single HD 7970 GHz for Thursday's NVIDIA launch and it was completely stutter-free while the reported FPS were perfectly in line with the onscreen ones.
