worthy upgrade

im currently using a gtx 590 classified hydro copper. it runs cool highest temp was 47C im wondering if there is a worthy upgrade. The titan seems great a bit pricey, 2 g80 4 gb would be nice but not sure, i wont go 7990 or 690. i would consider a 7970 im looking for higher Vram 4gb +. any advice or tips would be great. I basicially want something that can handle multiple monitors in max settings for 1900x 1080 monitors. ive been considering nvidia 670 4 gb the most, based on price vs performance

If you can afford it,get the Titan. If you're not in a hurry, wait for the 700 series, and see what they bring to the table.

Realistically I wouldn't bother upgrading from your 590 unless there was either something wrong with it, or its not doing what you need any more. IMO, wait for the next gen of GPU. A single 670/680, or hd7970 would be a downgrade.

^ as above

well im considering sli 670, 680, or 7970. i actually am leaning to having an SLI setup, i could afford 2 titans but the wife would choke and beat me if i did. money really isnt an issue i want a video card option under 1500 that way my wife would let me live to enjoy my PC. As for as my 590 it just feels not powerful enough or im just out of my mind. i just enjoy the details in a game and sometimes i have to turn of shawdows so i dont stutter

Thanks for the tips:thumb:

What are you running that appears to not feel powerful enough?

well sometimes in far cry 3 ill be 95% load both gpu n it will either stutter or slow down for a sec or 2 its completely random

I think you should wait for the next series to come out. No point of upgrading that card when it runs so well atm. Hold on to it and wait for GTX 700 or HD800 or when the new Titan LE comes out then make a move.

I guess ill wait till more information drops on new cards, if it will be just a refresh or new architecture. i want to notice the difference, ive never used any amd cards ever always have been Nvidia, i prefer whats best at the time, what worries me is the features of AMD vs Nvidia, like PhysX etc vs what AMD has, is there any true major advantage either way or its little to no difference between them

Be happy to have a 590^^,and don't buy a titan,it would be throwing money for not much benefit,i don't even know if it's faster than 590...So wait...
