Also since my build is based upon AMD! Should I go with a Nvdia or AMD as a graphics card solution

My System Specs

It doesn't matter if you go for nvidia or amd for the graphics card. See my previous post for card recommendations depending on budget.

Most people prefer a smaller monitor at 1080p , either 21.5", or personally I prefer 24".

You may be CPU limited in some games with that processor. You already have a good CPU cooler. Overclock your CPU if you haven't already.
Desktop: Arc Midi R2, Z77-D3H, 3570K 1.09v/4.1ghz with Zalman Optima Cooler, Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb@1866mhz, XFX R9 280X DD, Bitfenix Fury 750w, WD Black 1TB, Intel 530 120GB
Away from home light Gamer: Acer Aspire 15.6", A8-3500m undervolt and OC to 2Ghz, 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance, Crucial M500 240gb

If your budget is really tight you'd probably be fairly happy with a 7770. I had a 6770 and was able to get decent frames of 50+fps with BF3 at 1080p on High with that. They oc fairly well and are pretty quiet. Of course if you can afford the extra $30-$50 by all means go for something with a bit more balls but like I said if your budget is tight you should be able to get away with a 7770.

Yea I was actually thinking of getting a 23 or 24 inch monitor instead of 27 inc and I would have more $ to spend on the graphics card. Basically my limit of spending is 420$. To be honest with you I don't even really understand the whole over clocking thing with my CPU! Every time I get it to 4.0ghz it doesnt seem like really anything happened and in games does that boost my fps?

Don't wanna pay for a 300$ card so any suggestions?
Consider this articular in addressing the cards in the price range your inquiring about,I think some great technical work was done on the part of the reviewer (yes I know it's from December 2012 still worth researching) I've linked to the conclusion page, refer to the graph(I'm not a fanboy one way or the other btw)Radeon HD 7950 vs. GeForce GTX 660 Ti revisited - The Tech Report - Page 11

I would recommend any of these:

XFX Double D FX-787A-CDFC Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB $229.99 - $20 mir + free shipping and a ton of free games.

SAPPHIRE 100355-1GOCL Radeon HD 7850 1GB $164.99 -$15 mir + free shipping and tons of free games

EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB $189.99 - $10 mir + free shipping

ASUS GTX660 TI-DC2O-2GD5 GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB $279.99 - $20 mir + free shipping.

If I had to rank them in order of faw fps performance I would rank them in order from strongest to weakest:

GTX 660 Ti
Radeon 7870
GTX 660
Radeon 7850

Now the the difference isnt massive but it seems to make quite a big budegtary difference. This link will show you all current gpus and their related performance on BF3 which I feel is the toughest game on your list to achieve that goal of 50-60 fps.
Main System:
i5 3570k @ 4.6ghz | GA-Z77X-UD3H | Gigabyte GTX 670 | 8gb Redline 1600mhz | CM 690 | Logitech G9x | Mushkin Cronos 120gb ssd | Benq 24" | CM Hyper 212+ | Seasonic 750w | X-Fi Titanium | Sennheiser 350 | Razer blackwidow | Win 7 64-bit
Backup System:
AMD X2 7750 BE @ 3.0G | Asus M3A78-CM | 2x2gig 800mhz 4-4-4-12 | SB LIVE | Samsung 22" | Asus 9800gt | Antec NEO 620w | Logitech G5 | ThermalTake Matrix | Arctic Cooling Freezer 64
