At this price, and with the nice {quiet} custom coolers being offered, I forsee either this or Nvidia's new offering making its way into the HTPC in our living room.

Agreed. This card has now become the frontrunner for my mITX htpc build.

As a side note, I'd love to see how the Crossfire scaling is with this card. If it's reasonable, XFire 7790's could be the new standard for mid-range gaming systems, as they are likely to beat out the 660ti by a significant margin for the same price.
