Which gpu is be better for my specs?

I need to k ow which graphics card would allow me to play skyrim. I don't care if its on high or ultra really as long as I get no lag what so ever. I'm deciding on the GeForce gtx 650 or the sapphire radeon 7770. I want it to be playable in all areas here is my specs. I have a cyberpower pc gamer ultra 2098 with a fx4100 quad core and a radeon 6670 but people say it will lag but play it. I can play dark souls and bf2 with no lag at all medium I need answers. What's better for my pc

I would go for a 650 ti,would be good for you. you will play skyrim ultra i think, because skyrim is GPU heavy, and it's faster than a 7770.

How would my 6670 handle it? It's a ddr3 1gb

A 6670 is a low end graphics card, so I would likely give you playable fps, but with most or all settings turned down. A 7770 is faster than a 650, but if you spare the extra few dollars a hd 7850 is substantially faster than both of those.

What is your power supply? Need to make sure it can handle the extra power draw of a more power hungry graphics card.

I have a 500 w power supply and I was thinking about the 7850 but I need to start saving for a new processor everyone says my bulldozer sucks. I don't think it does I mean it has 3.8 ghz not over clocked or anything. But do you think the 7770 will meet my needs? I mean my computer is the cyberpowerpc gu2098 will the 7770 be compatible with my computer? Here is mine exactly. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229285

At 1080p with Ultra presets and FXAA, a GTX 650 Ti should get you 50-60fps average without ever dropping below 40fps, even with a hi-res texture pack. Knock it down to high presets and you'll probably have no problem keeping it at ~60fps.

As far as 650 Ti's go, I highly recommend out GC edition which has a super quiet cooler:

Galaxy GeForce GTX 650 Ti GC 966MHZ 1GB 5.4GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI Mini-HDMI PCI-E Video Card

You might be able to get away lag free with a non-Ti GTX 650 on medium settings, but for $20 difference I'd go ahead and get the Ti which is considerably more powerful.

Thanks but isn't the 7770 way more powerful?

GalaxyTech March 13, 2013 11:11 AM

Not according to the benchmarks:

Avg. fps is pretty close between the two but the 650 Ti holds a much better minimum fps, which is critical if you're wanting to avoid lag spikes.

The 7750/70 compares favourably to the GT640, and that's about it.

I have amd in mine right now but if I do will it be compatible with my setup?
