Glad to hear your RMA experience has been so positive. It says a lot about the quality of their CS if you're still praising them after being without a working GFX card for that long. :)

Well, that's the rub. I HAVE had a working gfx card. I'm lucky enough to have a few backup components, so I've been using a 6950 while my 680 has been away. I've been playing BF3 every evening throughout this entire process. Poor Me!

Anyways, even if I didn't have a spare card to use, simply being in constant contact and receiving regular updates from the RMA team goes along way towards creating patience.

Update:

I received a brand new GTX680 (my third one now) from Galaxy today. Also in the box was a pre-paid shipping label to send the other one (the first replacement) back.

From what I can tell, the new card seems to work perfectly. I ran Unigine Heaven for about an hour, then played an hour's worth of BF3, and there are no problems to report.

So, although it took a little while and a few tries, Galaxy managed to take care of me to my satisfaction and I am a happy customer.

It's especially important as the problem I was having was an odd one (crashing in some programs, but fine in others) and was not easily replicable by their techs. So, they took me on my word and helped me out.

Awesome! Glad that worked out for you. Electronics can be a real bear. Both for the end user and the seller. I know taking vehicles in with intermittent electrical problems is like chasing gremlins.

Good to hear about Galaxy. Believe it or not I only just discovered who they are branched off from and cousins of my Beloved PNY. So, makes me even happier to see the same type of service I have received from their cousin company come from them.

I think a lot more people will be re-assured by Galaxy's interaction and resolution.

I can't stress enough how important it is to have a company rep here in the forum. Andrew Fischer (Galaxytech) went a looong way towards expediting the RMA process and making it as easy as possible for me, the end user. That, in itself, is a great reason to buy Galaxy over some other manufacturer, even if you happen to like the other manufacturer's heatsink better (although Galaxy has some pretty nice designs, too).

I'm sure IGot6Strings will agree with me RE. the NZXT rep and his exploding power supply.

run a ram test aswell i had pretty much same problem and would only happen in bf3 and bl2, no other card would crash on the system. but i ended up running memtest85 for a different problem which ended up not being a problem (phone plugged in while pc booting sometimes bluescreens).

but i ended up finding one bad stick of ram.

wont hurt to check just to make sure.
