Mini DP to DVI problem
My videocard has 2x Single link DVI and 4x Mini DisplayPorts. I'm using an active Mini DP to DVI adapter and the max resolution I'm able to set on my U2711 is 1600x1200.
Any clues...?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like your adapter. Why not use the dual link DVI plug? (one is single, the other is dual according to my research).

It says both are single link ones MSI Global ? Graphics Card - R7970 Lightning

I beg your pardon, I was mistaken. Which active adapter are you using?

Edit: assumed you are using an active adapter, which might not be the case.

I'd use a miniDP to DP cable rather than a miniDP to DVI cable. Startech 10FT Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Adapter Cable - M/M

The one I've received with my previous 6990. Says it's active.

Edit: Just ordered one. Hope that adapter was all the problem. Thought there was a tweak/fix for windows or I've needed to install an additional driver of some sort. Thanks :thumb:
