Gtx 660 TI clocked Vs. HD 7950 Boost Clock
Like the title says, I need som help with desideing what videocard to buy.
I only use my computer for gameing, and I play on one screen in 1920x1080.
Should I pick the gtx 660 ti clocked or the 7950 boost clocked card?
Of the 2 cards I been looking at the;

MSI GeForce GTX 660TI Power Edition

And the

HIS Radeon HD 7950 IceQ X2 Boost Clock

They cost about the same in my country.

It dosent have to be the MSI og HIS card, I just need to know, what card is best for game on one screen and in 1920x1080, the GTX 660 ti clocked or the HD 7950 boosted? :)

the boosted Radeon is faster.

The 7950 will be a bit faster, but its going to use more power. Both will give a similar gaming experience and will have no issues at your resolution. Personally I would go for the 660ti for the better drivers(IMO) and lower power use, but you won't be going wrong with either.

If you plan to stick with one LCD stay with the 660Ti as it is very powerful and fast and a all round great card, The 7950 I would go with if you ever plan to upgrade to more LCD's or if you want a little more power for the future. In honesty I would get a 7950 hands down over 660Ti if the price was the same and your looking at a guy who runs a 660 in his main rig.

7950 is better value, more powerful card and will out-perform the 660ti for most things.. add that it's got 2 free games and it's a no-brainer IMO.
