Good purchase. That's an awesome card, and the dual fans are quiet. I've used the 680 version of it.

Dual GTX 670s are a great set-up.

And while it might seem like overkill for games at 1920x1200, you're more future proof when newer games with more demanding graphics come out.
Yup I believe it was indeed Palit 10e.

I am really looking forward to that non-reference cooling setup. The heatsink is much larger than reference and when combined with large fans at lower RPM = silence and lower temps which I'll never complain about.

Palit owns Galaxy (or did been awhile since I looked)...just like they own PNY....and Gainward....and probably others.

I like Galaxy products they make some good kit.

I don't think it's worth it. I was running on 680SLI until recently and looking at benches it showed hardly much of any difference between that and 670SLI, especially with both overclocked to their reasonable limits. Something in the area of 10% for the 680s. But the 680s are generally $450 and you can get a 670 for as low as $300 on a good sale.

Good call on the 670. IMO sli at your res is overkill, but you will definitely have no issues with frame rates. Enjoy. Let us know how it goes with the install/ first test runs.

Hehe... perhaps overkill Mr.Bond... but... but... NCIX had a HUGE sale on... I could buy one 670 for $350 and if I bought two it would only cost $700!!11!!! How could I possibly turn down a once in a lifetime deal like that!

Haha. That is an unbelievable deal. As long as your happy with it, then it's all good. I wish I had $700 for an upgrade right now.

Ya I've been building my own PC's for years and I always remained "sensible" and didn't stray very far from what I thought was "needed" to play my games with price/performance/value being king.

I decided to treat myself, just a little, this time and got some components that were just a little bit fun. And I'm also having NCIX build this one for me as I'm just getting a little too old and lazy and cranky!

(You know as I read that over I realize it's BS... I've spent a fortune over the years on blinkie lights and toys and H20 and modding my case and... well the "sensible" part above is just total BS... but let me keep my delusions )
