I'm still not overly impressed with the driver support and what have you from AMD, find nVidia still has the better well rounded product if you factor in their far superior drivers.

Your suggestions have given me some food for thought for sure.

I have decided on this card:
Galaxy GeForce GTX 670 GC 1006MHZ 2GB 3004MHZ GDDR5 Dual Fan SLI 2xDVI HDMI DP PCI-E DX11 Video Card

At $350 it is a great price and offers all the advantages of a non-reference design for cooling and noise.
While I can OC a 480 to get better perfomance levels than the 670 I think for 1920x1200 I have concluded the 670 will fit the bill for me.

That will drive 1920x1200 no problem, should be max details and max AA capable at good framerates.

Oh yes, easily.

You'll also be impressed with the materials used on the cooler, too. That isn't plastic, it's metal. The name of the card lights up, too.
My 680 has the same cooler.... and i love it.

Hehe...

I solved my 680 vs 670 performance questions... I went SLI 670.

A "go bigger" solution not totally unheard of for the users on this site I'd bet.

I ordered a second one sswilson.
I thought the $350 each was a good deal for the Galaxy and each has a $40 rebate to boot.

Now to look at the Titan review Sky just posted = Eeeek!

Think you'll be happy with the performance of dual 670's vs the price of the titan..

If the titan were even close to 2 670's I would get it but as it is... I'm thinking of going for a second myself.

Will be my first time using SLI.

I've always built middle of the road gamer machines in the past and decided to splurge for a change.

Arrrg... and I just noticed the GPU rebate has a limit of 1 per customer. Ahhh well I guess I can live with it.

You're probably thinking of Palit, which pulled out about 2.5 - 3 years ago IIRC.

Good purchase. That's an awesome card, and the dual fans are quiet. I've used the 680 version of it.

Dual GTX 670s are a great set-up.

And while it might seem like overkill for games at 1920x1200, you're more future proof when newer games with more demanding graphics come out.
