NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN; GK110’s Opening Act. COMMENT THREAD NVIDIA's GK110 has finally made its way into the GeForce lineup with a graphics card aptly named "TITAN". In this first look, we delve into the TITAN's architecture, features and specification to set the stage for our upcoming review of NVIDIA's new $1000 monster. Arrrrgh. And, yay. Hurrying up to finish up a project at work So I'll be able to read this article... |
Well...I don't know what to think. I figured it would be priced a bit lower than the 690 (where its performance will likely be). But at the same time a single GPU is better IMO. Bring on the full review (is it the 21st yet?). That all said, I will never own one. It may mean a few good prices on used gtx680/670 because of the few that will inevitable decide to take the $1000 upgrade route. |
Damn.... I am almost more impressed with that case layout, and how they placed the video card.... Those are some impressive specs on the titan. looking forward to the benchmarks. |
Wish I could afford a Titan... 6GB VRAM, nice to see the tech trickling down to the consumer market. Looking forward to the HWC review! Two 7970s are already more than enough for my 1600p gaming and workstation needs. |
I still can't find it for sale anywhere, other than a few PC outlets like Origin etc. You can get the Titan,if you buy a whole damn PC. Any idea when we Canadians can get this thing? SKYMTL? |
Industrial Aluminum. Looks good. Edit: with regards to the Digital Storm Bolt Titan Edition, I must protest! : Quote:
Edit#2: Slik, whats your rush? Dying to be CPU limited? :haha: |
Sounds like a really nice card to me. I'd love to water cool it and see what the boost can do when offered ample power and thermal headroom. The price is a huge turn off though, I'd take one for 650. Also I like the shader, rop and memory interface ramp up. Really sounds like there shouldn't be any internal bottlenecks on this card. |

Will be interesting to see what it is capable of on the 21st. But at $1k it will remain at the "interested" stage for me. I have an MSI GTX 670 Power Edition OC in my cart at NCIX right now at $380 but unless Nvidia would accept $380 and a few pints of blood for the Titan it will be beyond me. /cry |
