plus look at all his other gear its all damn high end stuff drivers and or HDD is the issue still think if you have a rig that nice get a SSD its going to help.

I mean, you have a 3570K and a GTX670, that's a pretty powerful rig that shouldn't necessitate a PhysX card. There must be something else wrong. What driver version are you running? Are you buy chance playing on three monitors?
Single monitor currently running at 1680x1050 driver are freshly updated (again) to 310.90 - WHQL

also afterburner shows usage only ever getting up to 60-80 % while gaming. Currently at a loss

Choose Storage - PCPartPicker Canada

Samsung, Sandisk, vertex 4 would be my picks for around $100

Watch out for sales though I saw a Intel 520 going for under 100 not so long ago. At that price it would be my go to drive

Just reading back on this... i doubt an SSD is going to make any difference to your FPS (still worth it though if you were going to spend it on the computer anyway)

I had an issue earlier where my computer wouldn't run anything faster than 30fps (half load on GPU)
I think the game buggered up the adaptive v-sync.
Might be worth trying to re-set the settings in game and re-load the drivers again (make sure you do clean install to get rid of any bad settings)

Alright so the 840 came in the mail a week ago and I do see the benefits of it (fast boot etc...). However I was still seeing those major frame rate drop's.So i decided to go back into afterburner and tone down my overclock. I was adding 100mhz to the main clock and 250 to the memory, I also had the power target all the way up.

I then decided to bring everything down to stock out of frustration. Launch BL2 and I'm witting 60FPS without a hitch.

and so ended my first venture into overclocking. :P
