Maybe trying to get rid of surplus chips? Like GE getting rid of waste mercury by getting governments to ban incandescent lights in favour of fluorescents.

I'd pickup one of these if it was using the Tahiti LE chip. A regular 7850 is not a big improvement over my old 5850.
