I got the HD 7970 at $350 before tax. I flashed it to the GHz edition without any issue whatsoever. Idle temp is 44C and fan default at around 20% speed. No coil whine for me, but several users have mentioned about the coil whine.

It's nice getting the card with the never settle bundle. I think that it's actually a better deal than the GTX 670/680 (especially at the price I got this at)
