Time for an intervention, lol. Keep the faith, you don't need to upgrade yet. Only logical upgrade would be SLI and a three monitor setup. That'll make the wife happy.

580s a month ago, NO problem to find... Now, No chance...

I also cant find monitors that match my BenQ 24 and LG27, So looks like this project has busted before it started.

If you have to ask 'should I upgrade'? The answer is no. If you need to upgrade, you will know it, i.e. stuttering, turning down eye candy, etc.

If you want to run everthing max with three monitors then I would go with the GTX-670 4gig SLI or if you want AMD then the one you have mention should do fine with 6gig of VRam.Personally I just don't like haveing three small monitors .I like haveing one big one .You could get a 55" proscan LCD 240Hz at newegg for $614.It is refrubished ,but I always have had great luck with refrubished items at newegg.I used to game on a 24" Dell ultasharp which look good ,but when my house burned down I had to move in a small apartment and I did'nt have room to set up in two different places.I had my LG 50" Plasma SmartHDTV and I thought I would try it.I always heard games did'nt look as good on a Big HDTV,but that was wrong at least in my case the games looks great .It is big it is just like I am in the action.I have it hooked up to my AV Reciever so the sound is just astounding. But to each is to there own.If you perfer three 27" monitors then I would go with either two GTX-670 4gigs and run SLI .But if you just want to run one card then the Sapphire Toxic HD-7970 6gig might be the best way to go since it has the most VRam.Looking at the reviews it seems to win most of the time at 5760 x1080 and at 5760 x 1200 .

Nah, if you think like that, never buy a card or wait for the 980... you can get a 680 :P they are cheap now,for sure the 780 will be 700$ or very expensive... ,tssss... and they will just add 1500 more cuda cores xD.
