Nice performance increase for AMD vid cards; nicely done AMD. Too bad they did not do this sooner, ended up going for a plain Jane ASUS GTX660 for the AMD/CM home machine - should'a, could'a, would'a...didn't - AMD's lose though.

just did some peliminary runs in the 3 games I play, will be installing & running under new drivers next

Well ... so far I cant be too positive on things nor negative on the 12.11 w/net 4.0 I installed ...

I was able to run my card @ 1.2 ghz core / 5.4 ghz ram & got Combat Arms to play on the same map as well as World of Warplanes ... here is what I got on 1 run of each @ 6 minute fraps bench at 1920x1080

Combat Arms (junk flea map in 1 man army game mode & 2nd highest AA you can run 4x):

12.8:

Min,	Max,	Avg
67,	257,	162.875

12.11:

Min,	Max,	Avg
33,	196,	94.775

World of Warplanes (harbour map highest details "very high"+Antialising+16x AA):

12.8:

Min,	Max,	Avg
23,	133,	62.468

12.11:*

Min,	Max,	Avg
27,	126,	63.764

* Of note in this run i actualy did more plane attacks vs other players then just bombings in 12.8 run


Not shure if its just the games or how I was playing ... but at all the same driver settings/clocks this is what I had occure .. Seems like there IS a lil more preformance there ... but without me doing further multi testing i can not fully confirm for me if I am getting extra preformance or not from the new drivers .. Placebo effect or not ... games so far seem abit faster ..

I just got home form work and installed the new drivers. I now can not read the text in xbmc. I have a 7770 . Tried to delete xbmc and re install but it was not able to fix it. Since this is my media pc I might have to go back to 12.8. sleeping dogs worked great though.

I just did a couple of tests before and after with my crossfired 6850's.

Not much of a difference, but a tiny improvement.

Unigine Heaven for example;
before 12.11 - fps 80.9, scores 2039, min fps 23.6, max fps 145.8
after 12.11 - fps 81.1, scores 2044, min fps 32.0, max fps 146.4

Few of the games I ran there was 3 to 5% increase in average FPS.

But this could be due to crossfire, plus 12.11 isn't promoted as drastically improving 6000 series cards.

Just thought I'd share. I'll keep it installed since there is some improvement

looks like it was the beta drivers. 12.10 works with xbmc just fine. Is there any way to let amd know about this issue?

cool I just might pull the 7770 on my server ,which I should have done ages ago, then get a motherboard for my incoming intel cpu or even better yet grab my other SSD and then pull the card on my main system and do a fresh install on my spare SSD with the 7770 hmm sounds like a plan

Just an FYI - the driver download page has been updated to include a Crossfire update for MoH:Warfighter. If you want to play MoH with Crossfire its recommended that you use this latest release.
