i have a gigabytecard with windforce,goes to 80c in summer :( and its not very silent,it's not loud of course

I have a Galaxy GTX 680 and its great! I also have had several MSI cards and they also have been great. So going with either company I think you will be more than satisfied!

That's because 70c was normal for Fermi. We were pretty happy with standards back then that we would shudder at now.

Speaking of which, my last Fermi card was that 560 ti, but the Twin Frozr version. It would constantly wind up unnecessarily to 60%, at which point it made that shrill high pitch. Good card, but I needed to play with headphones. I'm just glad we have mostly quiet cards this generation.

actually you could use the fan control with it in order to make it ,maybe hotter but super quiet :)

I'll always speak for the quality of our cards, especially when it comes to good cooling design, and as others have said should you ever need help with anything I'm not hard to find.
