Exclamation GTX 560 ti SLI
hello guys!

i'd like to know a few things because i want to SLI my GTX 560 ti.

first of all , i have 750W psu (BE QUIET!), is that enough for GTX 560 ti SLI + i5 2500 3.3ghz (no OC) + 8 gigs ram + 2x 140mm fan and 1x200mm fan? PSU calculator says 680W,but im not sure

i have a single GIGABYTE GTX 560 ti (822 mhz)for the moment, it heats to 65 -70 c in crysis and BF3 (34c idle)
will the SLI drive it to 80c?

i want to buy an MSI for the cooling,i'd better put it on the top (top card is the hottest right?)

What's the model / make of the 750W? You'll be close to the upper end on a quality 750W and probably shouldn't attempt it on a questionable brand that isn't able to safely output 750W.

Yes you will have no problem running two 560ti's. My friend runs two 560ti's on a 620W PSU.

ok thanks,its a be quiet pure power L8 PSU 750w,german quality ^^ im not sure its the L8 but looks like it ,and says 750w on the box.

but why would it be close? psu calculator says 680W with all fans and stuff so if its able to deliver 750w,what's the pb ?

It'll be under 680W, probably closer to 550W under load.

Luckily for him BeQuiet! is pretty good on there quality and platforms.
The 560TI's draw about the same as my 460's did on the i7. 750W is more than enough, and the PSU has the capability to do it no problem.

thanks guys ,i was just afraid of that the GTX 560 ti is like 300w under load,so i thought that SLI would be 600w for 2 cards,so,be a bit short

You wont see that big of an improvement at the resolution, it wouldn't be worth it.
