Honestly not impressed in the least. I mean it does look badass and its certainly rare but.... I know its only by a few frames but the 690 still beats it and does that with one less power connector and half the size?

And without the need for a Power Jack :).

Still, I really need to give Credit to Powercolour for going outside the mold and actually doing something.

I really expected more as well but I guess with just Power Color doing it and not really getting any support from AMD can't expect a lot. Not a card I'd ever look at buying though due to the price etc and the fact we can get better performance from the 680's (sli) or 690

And less heat, noise, etc.. I really don't get why does the 7990 gets the "Dam Innovative" award... It's (relatively, of course) not a big deal to make a monstrously sized card with whatever cores, power and performance, while the 690 on the other hand is a truly amazing achievement.

Because unlike the 690, Powercolour was doing this Alone, without AMD's help/engineering support. Unlike EVGA which has a history of doing eccentric designs (460 2WIN etc). This is out of PC's element. I for one totally agree with the award.

Rare and overpriced, they are going to have some trouble selling the 200 with those benchmarks. If they priced it $50 over a crossfire setup they would sell no problem. Too bad I was looking for this back in the spring.

You can read it in the conclusion page:
Can someone actually clarify the issues with these titles Witcher 2 and Crysis 2? As far as I can see 25x16 results are there for Witcher 2 and comparing to the 7970 Ghz Edition Review scaling is there. Likewise for Crysis 2.

Witcher 2: Cost not run with Ubersampling + AA enabled. I also ran into issues at lower settings (randomly) where the system would hard lock when AA was enabled on Crossfire setups.

Crysis 2: Minimum framerate (or even average minimum framerate) doesn't scale at all.

Skyrim: This one is well publicized. Negative scaling in some instances.
