Hello everyone!
Unfortunately, about two weeks ago, i got a defective GPU or MB. I got an RMA refund for the motherboard, but refund for store credit for the GPU (weird, i know haha). Anyways, The GPU i had was an MSI R7950 3GB OC edition. Knowing that i get roughly $330 US Dollars store credit, I'm planning on my GPU purchase. My issue is that I already had the card when the 660 got announced. Since i have the money now, I want to take advantage of this opportunity to buy the best possible graphics card for my money.
I'm looking at the MSI R7950 3GB OC (the one i originally purchased):
Newegg.com - MSI R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5/OC Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
EVGA Superclocked+ 3GB GTX660 Ti:
Newegg.com - EVGA SuperClocked+ 03G-P4-3663-KR GeForce GTX 660 Ti 3GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Of course, I'm open to any other suggestion for a GPU. On a side note, i believe EVGA makes FTW edition cards which are better than superclocked? If so, should i just wait a couple of weeks more to see if a new kind of GTX 660 Ti gets announced by any other manufacturer? Thanks in advanced.
Cheers!
