$200 560ti hawk worth it?

Pretty much the title... should i do that or spend a little more for a 7850?

Edit: sorry late at night and posting like an idiot... resolution 1920x1080, cpu i5 3550 will probably oc the graphics card. Types of games: mostly mmo's and league of legends.

Only.problem is that is $100 more which would break my budget pretty badly.

If you're getting it at ncix, it is actually $180 for the weekend.

Spend a little more on this...
eVGA GeForce GTX 570 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, HDMI at Memory Express
the same power as a gtx 480 which I run, and it is all you will need for 1080p single monitor gaming.

Sell the current card grab a 7950 or 660ti..

JJThomp August 19, 2012 11:27 AM

There is no current card, brand new build

@rovert it is $180 after MIR $200 before.

@adzsask I'm pretty sure the 560ti hawk will perform better without overclocking the 570 so I don't see why spend $50 more for similar performance. Also I think I would go just $60 more and pick up a 7870 if I was going to do that.

So I'm getting no love for the 7850 then?

Depends how good the deal is and if previous owner is willing to help with RMA's.
