The 660Ti is going to be faster, cooler and use less power than the GTX 580. The MSRP will also be around or even cheaper than the price before-rebate of the GTX 580 you linked.

I think with the 680 release they were hoping that more people would be less patient than they were in waiting for stock to arrive..
whereas if they dropped their prices sooner then they probably would have jumped on the AMD cards..

I don't see how AMD can keep the price of around $299 for it's HD-7870 since the reviews I have seen shows the GTX-660TI to be faster and uses less power I look for the 7870's to drop to $249.95 and the HD-7850 to drop to $229.95.They almost have to if they plan on selling any of them .Because the GTX-660TI is looking to be a real winner.
