GTX 670 Issues
Any members like to speak up about out of box reliability issues??

Do you mean buying a gpu that is "open box"? If so, I have bought an open box gpu from ncix and a refurb from newegg before and they turned out ok. I had no issues. Check and make sure that you are still covered by warranty when you buy them. I think open boc means that someone bought the card and returned it cuz they didnt want it or whatever.

I think he means simply issues without overclocking or changing anything?

If this is what your looking at... Yes i have 2 issues with my Asus DCII.. number 1 the GPU Tweak software crashes the computer horribly..

number 2.. every few hrs of gaming I get a black screen for 2-4 seconds as if the drivers have crashed but recovered.. Really odd.. Hoping that another driver update will fix it but will RMA the card if not.

Yes i was wondering if the ASUS card or Windforce card was more reliable...I like Asus but Ive seen similair issues online...

I have the EVGA GTX 670 SC 2gb and MSI N670GTX OC and have had no problems whatsoever with them at all. I am one of the lucky few who got a 679 SC from EVGA that slipped through the recall.

I have the Gigabyte Windforce card. Out of the box there are no problems. However, it has an ASIC score of 89.0% limiting the max OC to about +50mhz as opposed to people who get in the +200s...
