MSI GTX 670

Hi all,

Looking to purchase a GTX 670 card, this one from MSI seems like a really good deal.. Are there any major performance decreases compared to other manufacturers?

I would guess no. I ordered that exact same card. I already have the EVGA 670 SC which is practically rated at the same specs.

967 base clock
3104 mem clock

I guess it would all come down to if the cards use the same cooler.

Thanks, I eventually will end up getting a full cover block, just dunno when the 670 reference FC blocks will be released

The EK one has been released. I don't think it's on shelves in Canada or USA yet though.

Aquacomputer states that it is in production with a 10 day lead time..... whatever that means.

I personally contacted XSPC and they said they are working on a block as well.

They are all pretty close in performance if you are going to run a water cooler block then I would just find the cheapest ones ,but if you are going to use the HSF then I think the extra money spent on a ASUS or GIGabyte is worth it.I perfer the ASUS DirectCU II because of it's back plate and it 6 phase power and two more phases for the memory. I bought MSI when I had my GTX-470's and they overlocked just as good as the rest of them.

Id shoot for a 670ftw, that way you have better oc ability and can use a 680 waterblock
