True. I have yet to see any card that will go above 1175mV but supposedly the new Lightning can accomplish this.

They are a great GTX-680 if you plan on running just one card because they are hughe,they take up 3 slots ,I have the ASUS DirectCU II GTX-670 and they are just two slots ,make it easier to run SLI.

so is it worth it to hook up the vga hotwire if you have a rog motherboard? how much further can you actually take it (safely for 24/7)?
