Increase in Idle Temp for Dual Monitors

Get GPU-Z going, Sensor tab, you should see your clocks.

Goto Control Panel ---- System ----- Advanced System Settings ---- Performance ------ Settings --- Choose adjust for best Appearance ---- then choose Custom(all options will be checked) ------- now Uncheck the first option: Animate controls and elements while in windows ----- watch your gpu-z and see if after 10 seconds it downclocks to 50hz Core, and 68 memory.

Problem solved :) Took my HD7850 down from 50°c to 33°c idle at stock speeds. Found out about Virtu while overclocking my HD7850 from
860 Mhz to 1300Mhz core clock 1.3V

That's a hefty overclock considering the concerns over temperatures, I've heard many HD 7850's are capable running the memory at 1300 and the core at 1150. I could be mistaken. HWMonitor is an indispensable utility as well, overclocking or not.
