Question gtx 680 single or sli?

hello i will be buying the samsung s27a950d and for that i wana ask gtx 680 single is inaf or sli will do better job for games?

I stand to be corrected, but it's a standard 1080 res monitor so I can't see needing more than one card for any application.

obvoiusly sli is better, but not required IMO. I would go for a 670 at that resolution.

I run a Dell U2711 at 2560 on a single 680 and I'm playing everything maxed and haven't ran into any issues FPS wise. It's been fantastic.

A single 680 will be more than enough to drive 1920 with that monitor. Or as Bond said, a 670 would also be more than enough.

Yep 670 is definitely enough for single monitor gaming. If you have the $$ and can find the 680 then go for it!

go with the 680 EVGA my EVGA and ASUS 670 were both DOA :( but both my wifes EVGA 680 SC's work perfect and they rock every game

I would go with two ASUS Direct CU II GTX-670 or the GTX-670 Gigabyte with three fans because it will be faster and you can turn on all the extra feature FSAA 16X or you may get a bigger monitor or you might want to do a TRI- monitor setup.
