Sorry to bump an old post, but;

Went looking to add another hard drive..
A different local shop was blowing out evga's flavor of GTX560 for dirt cheap.
Couldn't help myself..I'll get another drive later.

Bring it home,plug it in, and hmm...works just fine.
So..I guess I got upgraded for Christmas.

Don't know what was up with that other card,
but I suppose the money saved offset the earlier headache.

Curiously, how much was dirt cheap?

$115 before tax.
I don't know if that's 'dirt cheap', but it's a far cry from where they were at.
They were all gone by the end of that day though.
