Default 3850 CF vs 8800 GT/GTS vs 9800GTX

As the title suggests. Basically this is my question. Currently i have 2 diamond HD3850 256MB cards in crossfire. But would it be worthwhile to upgrade to a single 8800 or 9800 GTX 512MB card while keeping my current mobo (ati crossfire X.) I currently game at 1680x1050 with as much turned on as possible.

I would think 3850 CF would be better than any single GPU card.

A single card 8800 GTS/GTX or 9800 GTX card will be faster 90% of the time, but not by a huge amount. Check some reviews for benchmark numbers, I probably wouldn't do the upgrade myself unless you could sell the 3850 cards for a good price.

a gts 512 is better than a pair of 3850's. a 9800gtx is pretty much and overclocked 8800gts 512, with the option of tri sli, i woulda gone for the 8800gts 512, anti-aliasing kills ati cards
