lol, I would have to agree with the others: that thing looks ugly and even if it was $200 cheaper, I'd still go for th Gtx 690. Even with the disadvantages of a 2 x Gtx 680 setup, I'll still like the looks of that better.

From what I'm seeing from other sites, it's supposed to reach higher clocks than a 690 - it better with another 8-pin connector!
Up in that niche though, I think they EVGA could've served itself better to put a full cover water block (e.g. Hydro Copper) on it rather than that monstrosity of an air cooler...

Yup, anyone willing to pay $1000+ for a GPU (myself included), it should just be assumed watercooling will be the first choice of cooling.

I wish the reference GTX690 came stock with a full cover block. Now I have to drop another ~$175 to get a block for it.

Yea but even if it came with a block they would charge that PLUS interest sooooo its cheaper to buy and and a block later
