Ya Sky. thats true but that gives AMD a good 6 month on those cards. The thing that Nvidia should have had these cards out by now. And will the supply be able to meet the demand. If not. There will be some customers going to AMD I am sure. Why release the 690. the 660 and 670 should have been priority. Since that has the biggest market!!!

Considering most retailers I have talked to report the GTX 560 Ti outselling BOTH HD 7800-series cards COMBINED by a 4:1 margin, I don't think NVIDIA is in too much of a rush on this one...

Even today the 560 is still very good at playing everything above medium level, making it a great bargain card for the regular budget minded gamer, ie 90% of us.

I know I still love my 560ti448. Runs like a champ!

I'm not sure if that's a testament to how amazingly the GTX 560Ti sells, or a terrible realization of how poorly the 7800 series sells.

These days people, even most enthusiasts, are more interested in "bang-for-the-buck" rather than just "bang"

With the release of the 670 you'll see the 580 and 570 slip to lower price and they are still very good cards..

That and the 560Ti has a huge stock and still sells, Nvidia would be foolish to release the 660 until the 560's and 570's are drying up a bit more

Please do not post links to, or information from websites which are breaking their NDA. I would have thought that having a closed thread on the subject left in view would be enough of a hint.

I understand this breaks your NDA.. but read their posts... they have signed nout with nvidia and have gotten no information from them about these products, therefore there is no NDA for them to break..

As said I understand HWC can't post this info though..

Anyone looking for it google is your friend.
