Default What to do?

I ordered an 8800GT from NCIX and it's on its way right now. It's an XFX8800GT OC that was on sale for $210 recently. I just came back from my bosses's office and he just gave me a BFG 8800GTS OC (BFG Tech - BFG NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS OC 640MB PCIe) and he said there is a second one (not sure if it's the same or not) that he's going to give me. I'm not exactly the biggest gamer out there. I'll play RPG's when I see a good one but I'm not into FPS at all. So sure I could go SLI but it would kind of be a waste. Not to mention they are dual slot cards so they take up a lot of room. So what should I do? Sell the pair of them (what are they even worth now), or run SLI and return the new 8800GT I just bought? Thanks.

Well the 8800GTS 640 is still a very good card. I would say keep it, sell the other one, and cancel the order on the 8800GT. Since you don't need 2 for SLI, cause that will just be a waste of power. They use a lot of power!

I'd sell the pair of GTS cards and keep the GT you ordered. Even if you don't play FPS games you are better off with the GT IMO. Better to have the newer tech even if your games don't use it to it's fullest. And the sale will pay for your GT. :)

In the recent 9800gtx review, the gts beat out the 8800gtx in some instances. Why would the GT be better? I'm confused.

I'm leaning towards selling the GTS's and keeping the GT as it's more than enough for what I need anyways. Plus the girlfriend needs a video card so I can always buy her a half decent one. I'm sure selling those two cards will pretty much cover the 8800GT and whatever I get the better half, or at least pretty close.

Edit:

Another reason why I think I'll sell them is the amount of power they are going to draw. There really is not need for that for what I'll be using it for.

Anyone know what a reasonable price would be for one of these cards?

I believe that's the G92 GTS w/512 MB of Ram in that review. The GTS the OP has is the G80 w/640 MB Ram, and I am guessing 96sp. The newer 512 GTS is a MUCH better card. But yes the naming is screwy and very confusing :P
