which card would you recommend?

Video cards are on sale. I plan to upgrade my ATI HD4850 (been procrastinating on this for a while). I mainly use it for photo editing, some games (my HD4850 gives me artifacts when playing online games and Mini-Ninja, I do not need high frame rate or max res). I am using Dell 2405 monitor which is 1900x1200 resolution.
There are these cards that come into my price range of about $200:

1. XFX Radeon HD 6950 800MHZ 2GB $210 (after rebate)

2GB of vram. Is it of any use to me?

2 is better for your needs, but considering the prices I'd get 3.

4 is the better card.

Yea, the 6xx lineup should fill out allot in the coming weeks.. the new 660ti (or whatever they will call it) would be my option for a go-to card for your res... if you want a bit more power and have the funds then the new version of the 570 would be second..
