Quiet card for 1080p

I'm looking to upgrade my card. I currently have a 5850 that I find a little loud and I want something as quite as possible. I'm going to be getting a 1080p monitor soon, so if I could get something quite and capable of 1080p gaming I would be happy. I'm leaning towards a Nvidia option as I'd like to go back and play the Batman games with physx enabled.

Well the 680 is damn quiet for a high end card but it's a little overkill for 1080p i suppose. I'd still suggest it tho. Other than that, my 570 is surprisingly quiet :)

Well Sky has teased us with news of new nVidia cards coming down the pipe, so perhaps the model below the 680 that comes out (when it does) may be great for you.

the issue with physx can be solved by adding an old busted card with physx support so you could stay on AMD for main rendering. There modern versions even on PCI like GT430 or GT520.
