I found this today, thought every one might want to see.

I am getting mixed reviews of this card. Some say it is better then the 8800 GTX and some say it isn't.

Same here, I do not know if I should wait, or maybe get one on monday.
maybe some one will buy one from this forum and then we will see how it performs

I suggest you all wait for the release date before making too many assumptions regarding pricing. It seems that some retailers are taking advantage of posting prices early to gouge quite a bit...

They seem to go for 2mb per bit...ie 256bit=512ram, 384bit=768ram. have no idea why.

I did read that it was very expensive to manufacture the 384bit card..for economics they seem to have dropped down to 256 and and concentrated on running the mem, shaders and core at higher speeds with the die shrink.

I recently picked up one of these cards. I haven't had a chance to do formal benching been working like a mule.

Hopefully I'll be able to stay home this weekend and tear this card apart.

Also waiting on proper drivers.
