I thought I would post just to let you guys know about a great customer service experience that I had today.
I recently purchased and installed a Galaxy GTX680 in my rig, I then registered it on the Galaxy website within 30 days of purchase so now I have a 3 year warranty. Today I received a phone call from a Texas number and spoke to a nice guy (did not catch his name) from Galaxy, he asked for me by my full name and then thanked me for buying a Galaxy product, he then asked if there were any improvements that could be made, I suggested the registration process could be streamlined further, he advised this was already being done. He told me that I could either call him or contact him on NCIX forums, HWC forums and even on OCN as he is registered on each site if I have any issues in the future regarding my GTX680.

I have to say that I have never been called by a company and thanked for my custom before, it felt pretty good and I liked the fact he asked for feedback and suggestions. He also said that he would ship me out a little gift as an added thankyou, its a surprise, I will update this post with picutres when it arrives.

That sounds pretty awesome. When I make the switch to the green team here soon I just might consider Galaxy.

Good customer service is hard to find these days, let alone something like this where they're contacting you for your input on their products/services.

Very good to hear. They seem to be pushing hard on improving their brand image. Hopefully that trend continues as time goes on and they succeed. They seem to have some very nice non-reference coolers on various products.

Anyone ever have to do an RMA with them and what was the experience like)?

The GalaxyTech guy on here is a great guy to talk with, helps you out with any question on there products.
He has helped with a few of my question with Galaxy products.

With what you said and the work done by their rep on here, I must say that Galaxy has gone up in my mind... More and more, it will be a brand I will consider for my next purchase.

I agree. I personally love one on one service and VERY few companies offer that. Galaxy really seems to be stepping up to the plate lately and this is just another example of that.

Hmm, I'm planning to buy one or two 680s at the end of the month, but I prefer to buy in store, not online. Anyone know if anybody in Edmonton even carries Galaxy?

I work in the customer service field and have worked in it for years. I have seen good and bad customer service and that kind of customer service is not seen too often. More companies need to learn from Galaxy. In most cases it all depends on the rep you get but the fact that they took the initiative and called you is a great procedure on their part.
