If she's getting both 580's for sure...... then you had better upgrade that 22" monitor she's using to at least a 27". It would be such a waste of power and tech not too.

My wife knows "overkill",and must have it all. Same as you and I. Overkill is good. I too think she should get a bigger monitor. After all, that's part of what overkill is all about. I think she is ready to get a 24 inch from Dell. It's a start in the right direction. Look how long it took ME to "catch on". I no longer buy pre-built PC's. And the thanks go to you Killswitch. You got me started.

The GTX-680 is a good card.I was surprise to see it so fast since nvidia said they would not start with there top-end cards first.I can only imangine how fast the top version of this card will be.I wish I had the money to get one but as long as my cards will play my games at a reasoable speeds I will keep them.I agree if you are running two GTX 580's in SLI then you want a monitor bigger then 22" .all the 22" monitors I have seen top out at 1920x1080.A single GTX 580 would be plenty for that .I would go with a 30" if I had the money .But I don't think games look to bad on a HDTV.I run mine on my LG 46" HDTV and love it althogh 1920 x 1080 is the highest its goes, but I can crank up the effects to max.But I would go with a 60" HDTV with 120hz and 2.4ms responise time over a 30" monitor that cost around the same but it does have a 2560x1600 resolution.
