Default 2 Questions guys, help please

Hey everyone, I plan on getting an XFX 7970 black edition gpu, what do you guys think about it? Or do you think gtx 680s would be better? And lastly I'm gonna have a i5 2500k cpu, would I bottle neck at all with this gpu? Thanks :)

Agree! The new cards from nVidia are crazy! I want to upgrade from 570, but such good prices on those right now!

if i were you i would find some one dumping their 570/s for a cheap ass price n chuck em in SLI/3 way SLI and wait for maybe the 700's cause gtx 570s in SLI are still amazing performance for the price.

Ive seen em round the place at lowest $250 US new, so I think you may find some at $175 mark.

To OP, gtx 680 es numero uno right now, no reason not to go with it, unless you enjoy driver issues...

i still did not hear about driver issue whit the 7970 yet but i have heard about 680 driver issue so yea no driver will be perfect.

to op: if you can find a 680 in stock and at 500$ go for it but atm all price are jack up and the stocks are horrible if you can't wait you can always go for the 7970 its only 6-12% performance diff.
