Default Anyone know when Nvidia's 670 and 660's are to be released???

Just wondering if anyone knows when Nvidia's 670 and 660 line is being released. I want to upgrade to the HD 7870. But want to wait for Nvidia's 670 and 660 cards are releasesd to see if it will drive the 7870's prices down. Thanks.

There are some people that know. Unfortunately, they can't discuss it...

Haha...so true.

I really don't know. I am sure its soon, but I don't know if that's soon a week or two, or soon within a few months. I am sure rumours will start with some details in the coming days as the dust settles from the gtx 680 reviews/release

Coming this summer to a theater .... er I mean NCIX... near you.

But seriously, looking at past Nvidia product release timelines, I'd say usually within 1-2 months of initial product release? Obviously i'd like for my assumption to be proven wrong and for them to come out tomorrow, but hey, we can't have everything lol. I shall peruse the Google's and see what rumours and the like are saying.

Yes I am really curious to see the specs of these. I feel like a 680 is way overkill for my single monitor blizzard gaming but I really really like the low heat and power consumption as compared to some of the older cards.

I was kind of surprised that the 670 didn't launch with the 680. If I recall correctly, the 570 and 580 launched simultaneously, as did the 470 and 480. Probably a yield/supply issue with the new 28nm parts, and I'd expect Nvidia to fill out their line over the next 2-3 months.
