Default What would you pay for a used 560ti?

Hi there.

I've found an MSI Twin Frozr 560ti 1gb 880mhz for sale close to me. He is asking $240 CDN. Now, I know this is way too high because new, this card is $239.99 on Newegg.ca.

My question is, what would a reasonable offer be? Assuming it's in good condition. He says its less than a year old.

My first instinct says $180.

What do you think?

I would say more towards $190-200ish. $180 is a slap in the face for those cards.

$180 is fair IMO. There some 560Ti for that price in the BST section here.

I would take a look at memory express this weekend they are having(another) sale. You can get a 560 Ti for 224$ and up. Not sure I would pay 180 for used no warranty and no idea what the card has been thru. My advice is pay 150 or less for used or buy new for 224. Unless its a friend you really are going in blind to that deal.

I offered $180. Still waiting for a reply. If I can see it running, I don't think $180 is too too high. It's definitely to highest I'll pay. I plan on re selling it once nVidia launches new stuff, or AMD's 7870 turns out to be a winner. $350 is my price category for a new video card.

I don't have a card yet for my new build. I was hoping for at least a 570.

If anyone wants to hear my eBay sob story...I was bidding on a 2.5gb gtx 570 yesterday morning. My high bid was only $226 until the last 30 seconds. Someone out bid me to $230, but when I countered someone snipped it away at $260. I was ready to smash my keyboard!! Oh well...

eBay really needs to fix the sniping issue which has been a plague since they opened. Frankly though I'm not sure how it can be fixed. It really hurts the peopel with slow connections too.

If you are willing to pay that for a 570 why not just pick up the 480 that's on sale for 250 at NCIX. That way you get a new card with warranty that's just as fast with more memory.
