MSI afterburner problem with fans on crossfire

I use a custom profile for both my 6950s, and it seems to work most of the time, but not always

But one thing is although when Win7 starts, MSIAB starts, it NEVER starts the cards on the custom profile, I always have to hit 'reset' in MSIAB and then the 'user define' button next to the fan control

So how to I have it start with my custom profile?

Did you mark on fan controller tab? becuz, whenever you set fan speed then uncheck it, it will set to default again!

in settings on the fan tab, "enable user defined ...fan control" is check marked

and on the general tab, both cards are synced, start with win7, and start minimized

And most importantly, make sure you enable Apply Overclocking settings at startup.
This is something I found out cause I had the same issue when I had my 6950. That option is required for the custom fan profile to start on bootup.

Ya, definitely not the most intuitive design.
