Default Power color or Ati reference card.drivers question.

I'm planning on purchasing a power color 6950 2gb vortex II card soon and I was wondering where should I download the latest drivers? power color website or Amd Ati website? both? power color last updated their 6950 drivers in 2011.12.14 but ati updated their drivers in 2012.. so.. should I purchase an ati reference design card for their better drivers or does power color also supports ATI drivers?

so basically my question is:
are ATI drivers only for Ati reference cards?
if I do purchase a power color 6950 2GB should I download both ati drivers and power color drivers?

ati drivers:
ATI Radeon

power color drivers:
PowerColor Official Website - Graphics, Cases, Power Supply

note:
noob question here:
is PhysX an Nvidia only technology? ati cards does not come with PhysX features do they?

Use the AMD ATI drivers. In terms of driver support, it doesn't matter what brand/design you buy.

He's dead on. Brand is irrelevant, they all use the same drivers. Just grab them from the AMD site.

ok thanks guys :)
unfortunately vortex II edition is sold out @_@ so I am now aiming for either a ASUS direct CU II 6950 2GB or club 3d 6950 2GB.

here's the problem..
on newegg the ASUS Direct CU II 6950 2GB only has openGL 4.0 while the latest is 4.1 and 4.2, how do I upgrade it's open GL version? does the latest AMD drivers automatically installed newer version of openGL?
or am I stuck with open GL 4.0 on the asus direct CU II 6950 2GB? basically my question is:
how do I update my Open GL version? can it be done by installing latest drivers from AMD site?

second question is..:
I'm aiming for the ASUS direct CU II 6950 2gb but I'll consider club 3d version too..club 3d is relatively new to me.. I haven't heard much of it until recently. is it any good??

why are people buying sapphire 7950 3GB OC edition? can't they overclock the 7950 3GB non OC edition themselves and save a couple of bucks?

The OC edition comes with the custom cooler (heat sink and dual fans). The non-OC model is the stock reference design (also currently offered by MSI and HIS) and while you can overclock it, it will not cool as well with the stock HSF assembly if you do overclock (nor will it be as quiet). Considering the price difference is only $20 (at NCIX) and considering the cost of an aftermarket cooler and fans, buying it already set up from the company seems a no brainer, considering it seems to work so well.
