cppl things......the most likley culprit here is your vram....run fraps or afterburner and watch it max right out!!!


2 thing..550 ti sli IS a 560 ti......

Try turning AA and SSAO/HBAO off...then see how it works.

Your issue is VRAM usage i promise. I had 2 gtx 550ti's in SLI on a phenom 2 x4 955 BE oc'ed to 3.8ghz and if i tried to run ultra or msaa on it would play fine for say 5 min or so then boom lag the hell outa and almost lock up, gpu usage and cpu usage maxed. Now im running a fx 8120 and a gtx 560ti 2GB, my vram usage in BF 3 on ultra with 4xmsaa - 1.7 gb's so yea. You should have gotten 2 550ti's with 2 gigs of vram, cause in SLI you only run one cards vram while the others is just shadowed. A fx 8120 isnt gonna show you any noticeable bottelenecks. Especially not in bf 3 as it uses all 8 cores of a BD
