Overclock results. MSI OC Genie changes my CPU from 3.4 to 4.2 Ghz. It also activates XMP mode on my RAM. Here is the link to my OC results: AMD Radeon HD 7970 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2600K Processor,MSI Z68A-GD80 (MS-7672) score: P9346 3DMarks
Detailed scores

3DMark Score

Graphics Score

Physics Score

Combined Score

40.78 FPS

46.87 FPS

57.48 FPS

28.27 FPS

31.81 FPS

40.02 FPS

So a smallish OC of the CPU really delivers some big results overall.
Phil: My GPU score went from 9165 to 9328, when my CPU speed changed from stock 3.4 (+turbo) to OC 4.2. It's interesting.

Since I do not overclock CPU, there is no sense in overclocking GPU as well. Although my Q9650 overclocks easily, just need to keep voltage to north bridge up and core voltage at 1.125.
Oh, I did not want to buy advanced version of 3d mark 11. I am cheap, so had to test at 720p :)
And yes, I will be upgrading to Ivy Bridge, hopefully.
You don't have a clue what you are talking about....

If your video card can reach 99% usage than you don't have a bottleneck. Simple as that.
