New 7900 series driver
 

I was having an issue with my card crashing the computer when idle for a long time, but this seems to have fixed that.

Anyone here have 7970's in tri-fire and didn't get neutered by their spouse? No? That's what I thought. lmao

Not really much to go ape shit over with that driver release. I'm having some problems with tearing 1/3rd of the way up on the center monitor. Other then that I'm good with 11.12's.

Anyone know if we should be using the latest CAPs (11.12 CAP3) with these drivers?
And btw, if you guys haven't seen BF3 with these new drivers with SSAA, wow, it's damn beautiful, but you do take a hit on the framerate, still playable for me though.

CAPs are only needed if you're running a multi-gpu setup.

That's definitely not true, CAPs are also for single GPU setups.

I love how watching a video, the card runs @ full clock speed. Not to mention it running @ 70C and having the fan @ 34% which is way too loud to enjoy watching a TV show silently.

Something's off with your setup, mine only goes up to 500MHz when watching videos.
