Hold the phone... I saw the exact same pics on a thread since deleted on overclock.net of a guy who was obviously doing some shady dealing with that card. He had posted asking for help saying he couldn't get it to work after he bought it from his "supplier", and now, lo and behold a day later it appears for sale somewhere else.

Be very, very careful with that one.

Ya a few people got these in Downtown Toronto. Apparently it's available at some flea market.

But it would be dumb of anyone to pay $850 for a card that will be released in 2weeks for $550-600.


Not too mention that the 3870x2 is just as good as the 9800gx2 at stock speeds and it;s only $450.

So do yourself a favor and don't waste money on this useless card. Unless you're a nvidia fanboy, than at least wait until it releases for $550-600.

He's been posting all over about this card on XS and OCN and now he wants to sell it for $850....

This guy who "has" the card goes by Youngone (his name is Aman). He screwed me over on a deal through Overclock.net (through which he is now permanently banned for trader scamming). He set me up to meet with him to sell video cards I had listed. I went to meet him (cash only, pick up, sound familiar). Waited over an hour while the guy sent me repeated text messages saying he was on his way. Finally got him on his cell phone and he answered and let me listen in while he laughed it up with his buddies.

This guy will also be banned from Xtreme shortly for trying to pull similar crap there as well.

He is not to be trusted.
