Default will a xfx 6850 work with a 450 watt psu?

I'm wondering if the xfx 6850 I just bought will work with my BFG 450W psu?
My current setup to show what the psu is powering:
core 2 duo 2.2ghz
2gb ram
WD caviar green 1Tb
DVD burner
i also have 5 usb devices plugged in.

Power supply calculators are useful for this kind of thing. eXtreme Power Supply Calculator

With your current system you'd be pushing your power supply pretty hard at full load you probably won't have anymore than 100W headroom which isn't much.

Can you post the exact model or the distribution of the rails? (e.g. the label on the side of the PSU)
That setup should draw a good 225-275W on the +12V rail, depending on which of the Core2 Duos you have (e.g. a Wolfdale would be more efficient than a Conroe). It should be OK but don't go nuts on the overclock.

Newegg.ca - BFG Tech BFGE450WPSU 450W ATX 12V v2.2 Power Supply
i'm using this one right now. it says 18A per 12V rail.
i'm using core 2 duo e4500. it's allendale.
i dont plan on overclocking anything.

It should be okay, I'm thinking. I wouldn't add much more to the system otherwise.
