This was a limitation of their DX9 cards, I'm wondering if that's changed with the DX10 cards.
Unfortunately, it has the same problems that all of the other Nvidia cards have when it comes to this. It's either HDR or AA/AF, I chose HDR. I will tell you all, HDR is just fantastic with this card, doesn't even cause a hiccup in this game. In TDU, my X1600pro couldn't even handle HDR whatsoever, with this card it is just stunning. I got an average 79.7fps in HL2LC stress test. This card is a very solid performer. I seem to remember that the 7600GTs weren't exactly cheap when they first came out either. I actually bought this at Future Shop for 2 bills, the same price it is online. eVGA probably told them what pricepoint to sell them at. I've had Nvidia cards from most of the big players and I have nothing but praise for eVGA, lifetime warranty and they treat their customers like gold. I've had three emails already asking how the card is doing. 7185 in 3dmk05 isn't shabby either.

Edit: Here's screenie from Stalker, it runs great, no slowdown at all.

I would have expected a "new gen" card to post better than that. I posted 9180 on my 1950pro (around the same price point w/out DX10 support) with a stock clocked 3700.

Was that XP?

Kinda hard comparing apples and oranges I know, and synthetic tests don't give real world comparisons.

On a side note.... how's that 4CoreDual-VSTA treating you? What did you manage to get the DDR2 667 up to? (I've only managed 290 because of the higher FSB...... ).

It's a great board, the reviewers weren't wrong about this one. I don't have my memory overclocked at the moment and don't really have plans on doing so. Yes it was XP, I won't touch Vista until I have to.
